I’m Blake
I have spent years quietly devoted to the ancient ways and the medicine of the land. These days, that curiosity has led me to become a Shamanic Druid and Aura Photographer.
But before any of that, I’m a wife, a mother to two teenagers, and someone who’s been keeping it real and despising small talk since 1986.
Let’s skip the small talk. This isn’t about looking mystical; it’s about remembering who you are.
I've studied deeply with Celtic shamans and mystics, sought teachers, read, listened, walked the land, and followed the threads that kept pulling me deeper. Along the way, those experiences helped me recognize something that had always felt true in my bones: I naturally experience the world through the lens of the shaman archetype.
For me, shamanism is a direct conversation with the living world, rooted in what we can actually feel, and completely awake to the intelligence of the land. It's a way of moving through the world in relationship with the land, spirit, intuition, and the unseen. There isn't a perfectly laid-out road to follow. The road unfolds as I walk it.
I naturally lean toward Celtic and Norse traditions because of my ancestry. Those stories, landscapes, and old ways run through my veins. But I also walk to the beat of my own drum. My practice is intuitive, personal, and eclectic.
Druidry gives another language to that relationship. The ancient Druids held a profound reverence for the natural world, with trees and sacred groves holding particular significance. That way of knowing feels familiar to me. Druidry, as I live it, is about direct relationship with the living land: the forest, the water, the stones, the seasons, the animals, the ancestors, and the rhythms of the Earth.
Something in me recognized it. The forests, waters, stones, and old places become part of my own remembering.
So when I call myself a Shamanic Druid, I'm not trying to look mystical. I'm describing how I live.
I listen. I notice. I follow what feels true in my bones. I honor the natural rhythms of the Earth and remain curious about what exists beyond what we can immediately see. It's a path of relationship, remembrance, and learning to trust the wisdom that was there all along.
People often ask me what I mean when I say I'm a Shamanic Druid. It's not a title I chose because it sounded mystical or trendy. It's simply the language that best describes a path I've spent years devoted to, a long journey of remembrance.
Here is what that means for you: I don't believe you need to be "fixed." Wildly Earthy is rooted in a triad of simple, non-negotiable truths:
Nature is your greatest teacher: When you step out of the daily rush, the earth anchors your nervous system, and you relearn how to listen to her rhythms.
Intuition is a skill you can relearn: Your divine inner voice isn't gone; it's just quiet. We can retune your ear to hear it again.
Healing is a remembrance: You don't have to build a brand-new version of yourself from scratch. True magic comes from remembering who you've always been.
The path
My Journey of Remembering
For a long time, I lost sight of myself.
If you are reading this and feeling a heavy, quiet exhaustion in your bones, I want you to know: I have stood exactly where you are standing.
Like so many women, I used to pour 100% of my energy into caring for everyone else. As a military spouse, my husband was frequently away. I spent years raising two young children, managing a home, and keeping track of everyone’s endless needs, moods, and schedules. On the outside, I was doing it all. But on the inside, I was quietly setting pieces of myself aside. Day by day, I gave away my time, my energy, and my magic until I forgot that I even existed outside of the roles I filled.
Maybe you know that exact feeling. The feeling of being surrounded by people who rely on you, yet entirely alone with a voice inside you that has grown whisper-quiet.
My turning point began when one day I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize who I was looking at. Who am I beyond the roles I play? I didn't know. I was so disconnected from myself. That realization was the lynchpin that kicked off a journey of self-discovery that has been unfolding for over a decade.
What I thought was a "searching" for answers to the longing of my soul has actually been a winding path of “remembering me.” I realized the answers are found through lived experiences, ah-ha moments, spending quiet time in nature, and connecting back to myself; it’s not outside of me.
Teachers and healers have all had their hand in my journey, but most importantly, it has been about learning to trust my own intuition, letting go of who I was told to be, and giving myself permission to simply be who I am: my authentic self.
There is no finish line to this path, just a continual unfolding, and it is within this exact space that I am birthing Wildly Earthy. I am finally at a place where I no longer allow myself to be put on the back burner. It is time to follow my dream, and my dream is to connect with and help like-hearted women just like you on your path of remembering your authentic self.
Behind the Work
I didn’t step into this work overnight, and I didn’t choose this path on a whim. For years, I have been a student of these ancestral ways; deepening my practice, studying the subtle currents of energy, leaning into the wisdom of Celtic and Norse traditions, and sitting with the trees. I chose not to rush into the public eye. Instead, I honored the medicine by living it, integrating it into my daily life, and waiting until our chapter in the military was complete before offering it to you.
My work is presently anchored in Fairview, Tennessee, where I live and tend to my roots. But the energy of Wildly Earthy knows no borders. You can find me bringing this medicine to life through:
Local Pop-Ups & Private Events: Creating safe, physical containers to map your energy and capture your essence through aura photography.
Ritual Circles: Gathering like-hearted women to slow down, share raw truths, and remember their magic.
Retreats: Moving beyond our daily routines to step into the deep, wild landscapes of the world and find our way back home.
REAL TALK
Bits of my Soul
MORNING MEDICINE
Quiet mornings enjoying a hot cup of spiced chai latte, watching the birds and deer out my window, and tinkering with my nano fish tanks.
COSMIC ALIGNMENT
A precise cosmic cocktail of deep intensity, raw emotion, and grounded business: Scorpio Sun (driving my need for depth), Cancer Moon (housing my psychic sensitivity), and Capricorn Rising (giving me the ancient earth energy to build this vision).
I am autistic (diagnosed after my son was diagnosed), with a heavy dash of ADD, and I’m dyslexic AF. I’m the matriarch of a beautifully chaotic neurospicy household, so someone is always stimming. The household favorite seems to be being triggered by a movie or TV quote or song lyric, and needing to say it aloud. And the horrible trick we like to play on another is the "earworm" game where, when walking past someone, you lightly sing a lyric to a catchy song, in the hopes that you ear-wormed that person and that lyric is stuck on loop in their mind for the foreseeable future. Haha, oh the joy one feels when they have succeeded. Real Talk: Spoken language is literally hard work for me, and finding the "right words" can be a clunky, clumsy process. I find small talk physically painful, but I can deep dive with you on topics of the soul until the sun comes up.
NEUROSPICY
THE ANCESTRAL PULL
Born and raised right here in Williamson County (Franklin), 🎶 Tennessee, will always be home sweet home to me, good ole rocky top 🎶. But military life has pulled me across horizons, taking me from the southern heat of Augusta, Georgia, to the rugged coastlines of Monterey, California (three separate times), and the vibrant shores of Oahu, Hawai'i. Grand landscapes call directly to my spirit. While Tennessee anchors me today, my ultimate dream is to split my days living deep within the wild, ancient landscapes of Scotland, Norway, and Portugal. The Scottish Highlands are part of my soul.
HI MY NAME IS BLAKE, AND I AM A MILLENNIAL
I’m a Millennial; of course I still listen to emo bands from the 2000s. I’m a Millennial; of course, I still find Travis Barker and Johnny Knoxville insanely hot. I’m a Millennial; of course I have zero trust in the system after surviving three economic downfalls, a failing school matrix, and approximately twelve "once-in-a-lifetime" historic crises all before noon. I’m a Millennial; of course, I firmly believe the big screen (laptop) is for big tasks, and the small screen (phone) is for small tasks. And obviously, Harry Potter is my ultimate comfort movie.
